Litteraturhistoriskt intressantast misstänker jag att Archilochos-fyndet är, men av särskilt intresse för bloggosfären kan även nya rön om Narcissus fasliga öde vara. Att vilddjurets tal från Uppenbarelseboken kanske inte är 666 utan 616 är förhoppningsvis av mindre relevans för den genomsnittlige läsaren.

Kul att Narcissus egentligen älskades av män och inte av Echo. I begynnelsen av varje text finns ett homoerotiskt drag eller drag (engelskt uttal).
Fast den egentliga dragutstyrseln kommer med den heteronormativa omstöpningen av homoerotikens starka sensualism. Man lånar uttrycket men missar Eros. Eros pilar missar dock aldrig målet.
